  • Friday 6.45 PM - 9.45 PM; Sunday 3.30 PM – 6.30 PM (But few make up classes may be held on other days)

Who Should Attend:

Middle & Senior level working executives and professionals in business organizations may apply for this program. The program offers quality interactions with experienced executives, and peer group learning as average experience of the participants is around 8-10 years.


The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will leverage use of technology and will consist of, depending on the subject, a judicious blend of lectures, real life case studies, quizzes and assignments.

  • Applicants should be working professionals/self-employed.
  • Graduates (10+2+3) / post graduates in any discipline with min. 50% marks [aggregate - considering results of all years (e.g. 3 or 4 together)] recognized by UGC/AICTE.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience (full-time paid employment) post completion of graduation as on Application Closure Date.
An Entrance Test will be conducted to select eligible candidates to the programme. Candidates who qualify the above eligibility criteria will be considered for the Entrance Test. Final Selection will be made basis the candidates’ performance in the Entrance Test. No deviations to the laid out Eligibility Criteria (unless otherwise mentioned above) will be considered. Program Details:

Spread over one year, the program provides the participants with skills for leadership in the knowledge economy through an innovative curriculum. Faculty from IIMC and distinguished visiting faculty from reputed academic institutions and industry handle these courses.

Learning Experience:

The program was good.It provides a wonderful learning opportunity.It is upto each of the students to make best use of the opportunity. Some of the professors have been extremely good adn inspiring.However, there is some scope for improvment as lectures from some of the professors have not lived upto the expectations.

Professor Manisha Chakrabarty

Dr. Manisha Chakrabarty is an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at IIM-C. Dr. Chakrabarty holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta. She also has Masters in Science from Calcutta University with specialization in Statistics and Econometrics along with a Bachelors in Science from the same University. Dr. Chakrabarty’s research interests include Applied Econometrics, Development Economics and Applied Finance. She has also undertaken consulting assignments in areas of Gender Issues, Inclusive Growth particularly for target groups of population, Program Evaluation, Education and Poverty Analysis. She teaches Macroeconomics, Econometric Methods, Applied Macroeconometrics, Financial Econometrics, Quantitative Research Methods and Topics in Advanced Econometrics at IIM-C.

Professor Sudip Chaudhuri

Dr Sudip Chaudhuri is a Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. The courses taught by him include Macroeconomics, Industrial Policy, Management of the Economy, Economics of Development. His research interests include industrial policy, role of state in developing countries and intellectual property rights. He has published widely including a book on WTO and India’s Pharmaceuticals Industry: Patent Protection, TRIPS and Developing Countries, Oxford, University Press. The book was quoted extensively in the recent Supreme Court judgment on the Novartis patent case. He has done commissioned studies for various organizations including the World Health Organization, Geneva, United Nation Development Programme, New York, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Vienna, Reserve Bank of India and the Government of India.

Professor Suren Sista

Professor Suren Sista, Assistant Professor, Marketing group at IIM-C, is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is also a Post-Graduate in Marketing Communications from Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad, and a B.Sc. from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has worked as a researcher in AC Nielsen (erstwhile ORG-MARG) and IMRB International (erstwhile IMRB). He has also undertaken consulting assignments on the business of sports, and entertainment. His teaching and research interests are in the area of Marketing, Relationship Marketing, and Research Methods. He was a Dr. D C Pavate Research Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
