At ATM-GBS we bring out common business sense, lateral thinking, simplifying the complex, improve confidence level and build dynamic personality to train future managers who would be equipped to re-engineer change, with a stress on moral quotient. At ATM-GBS you are responsible for your learning. You will have help from well-qualified and experienced academic staff that provide leadership and structure to your learning through lectures, seminars, projects and practical sessions. The following teaching methodology is practiced at ATM-GBS.

The best theoretical inputs are imparted by qualified and experienced faculty. Teaching practices range from setting goals for the class to making effective presentations to listening to student’s questions.

All departments routinely organize various panel discussions and seminars. The students are encouraged to plan, hold and conduct these activities under the guidance of faculty members.

Students are provided with ample opportunities to participate in GDs and Interviews. They regularly interact with other members in their teams while discussing topics of general interest. These GDs are closely supervised and expert feedback is provided to each student. This helps to develop the leadership skills and boosts the overall confidence of student managers.

Personality Development sessions help in building self-awareness and developing a positive attitude to cope with time and stress issues. Feedback on important personality traits is delivered through supportive counseling sessions by experts.

Mock interview is an emulation of an interview used for training students to perform better while facing corporate interviews for internships and placements. Focus is to impart confidence, good communication and analytical abilities through this method among students.

Students are made to simulate roles in different situations encountered in an organization. Such exercises help them to sharpen their decisions making and creative skills.

All the students enrolled in regular full time programs in Management, Information Technology, Commerce & Hotel Management have to join industry after the second semester for 3 days per week and the industry pays stipend to the student during internship, so a post graduate student gets one year of work experience and an under graduate gets two years of work experience on completion of the course.

ATM-GBS tries to bridge the gap between theory and practice, through discussion of the movies like Lagaan, Chak De India and many more movies which illustrate practical aspects of leadership and other managerial traits which every business management student should be aware of and imbibe in his practical day to day business handling.

ATM-GBS sponsors the entire class to attend National Level conferences at various five star hotels so that the students are able to interact with the companies and be able to understand the corporate culture.

Experience is the best teacher and the case study method packs more experience into every hour of learning than any other instructional approach. Case studies challenge students by bringing them as close as possible to business situations.

Presentations build more confidence and develop good knowledge base of students. This teaching methodology grooms overall personality of the students.
